Shahi Matar Kababs

Ingredients : –
For shahi matar kababs –
- 1 cup boiled and mashed green peas
- 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1 tsp finely chopped green chilly
- 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
- 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
- 2 tbsp finely chopped mixed dry nuts like KAJU , badam , kishmish , chironji
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp KAJU powder
- Some sooji for coating the kebabs
- Oil for roasting the kebabs
- Pinch of cinnamon (Daalchini) powder
- Pinch of elaichi powder
For Hungcurd Mint Dip –
- 1/2 cup hung curd
- 1 tbsp mint and green chilly paste
- 1/4 tsp garlic paste
- Salt to taste
Method : –
For shahi matar kababs –
- In a mixing bowl take green peas, potatoes, chopped green chilly, coriander, ginger cinnamon (Daalchini) powder, elaichi powder and saltn mix it well and make a dough.
- Make balls from the dough , with wet hands flatten the ball on your palm.
- The balls roll in the sooji.
- Heat oil in a nonstick pan and grease it with some oil.
- Now place the kebabs and cook from both the sides , until brown , on low heat.
- When becomes ready serve them with hung curd mint dip or any sauce of your choice.
For Hungcurd Mint Dip –
- In a bowl, take hung curd, mint and green chilly paste, garlic paste, salt and mix all the ingredients together , dip is ready .
